A2 update I have recompiled Madlibs.jar and a2.jar under the correct compiler compliance level 5. They were previously compiled at level 6 (my mistake), which gave an error with Java 5. I have also made a slight change to the Operation class in a2.jar: I have made the constructor public, so that you can create your own Operations if you like. The new files have been installed in CMS and on the website. I have also updated the Javadocs accordingly.  --dk

consulting Good news! We have a bunch of consulting hours, and a number that happen in RPCC! We're in the midst of getting the charts updated in Course Info→Consulting. To get you started for the next few days, consulting will run 2:30-4:30 on Fri (Upson 360), 2:30-6 on Sun (Upson 360), 4-9 on Sun (RPCC), and 1:25-9 on Mon (Upson 360). We have Tue, Wed, and Thu hours, too. We'll announce when the full schedule is posted.

Bowling! Interested in Computer Science? Want to talk to other CS majors? Like to play bowling? The ACSU is hosting a bowling night at Helen Newman lanes this Thursday, January 25th from 5-7 pm. Free pizza will be served. If you are interested in joining, finding out what the organization is about or just want to play bowling, come and join us.
Java Bootcamp Tue and Wed this week (7:30PM-10:30PM in Upson B7). As explained here, the "bootcamp" is a tutorial that you do. Various TAs will be present to help answer questions as you work on it. Note that you can also do the tutorial on your own, as we've posted all of the solutions.
