Prelim 3 Topics

You are responsible for all material listed under the Prelim 1 and Prelim 2 topics lists plus the material listed below.

Topics/Ideas

• characters and strings
• matrix (2-dimensional array)
• 3-dimensional array (e.g., color image data)
• cell array
• structure array

Do not worry about recursion (for now) and contour plots.

Students are responsible for all material covered in lecture, section, homework and the assigned reading:

• Lecture, section, lab: up to and including 4/8
• Homework: Projects 4 and 5
• Assigned reading: See CS1112-->Lecture Materials, up to and including 4/7

MATLAB predefined (built-in) functions that may be needed for solving the exam problems will be listed. You are expected to know how to use them.
