Note. In creating a grayscale image from a color image, you can't just average the pixels themselves. You have to extract the red, green, and blue components and calculate their average, and then you have to put everything back together into a pixel. To see how to extract the components and then build the new pixel, take a look at method ImageMaintainer.invert. You will have to do the same kind of extraction and building of a pixel in the other two tasks of this assignment.
