SUMMARY:Brown bag: Rachit Agarwal
DESCRIPTION:Title: How to apply for fellowships\nSpeaker: Rachit
Agarwal\nAbstract: Fellowships come with several benefits --- improved
visibility in the community\, prestige for you and for your department\,
and potential interactions with mentors assigned along with the
fellowship (especially\, for industry fellowships). Applying for a
fellowship also forces you to think \"big\"\, that is beyond the scope
of a single problem --- a skill that will help you during and beyond
	 your graduate studies.\n\nApplying for a fellowship\, however\, could be
daunting. This brown bag discussion will provide some advice on how to
approach writing a fellowship application\, and on how to maximize the
chances of having a successful application.
