A fairly standard photo of Wellington taken from Mount Victoria. Wellington is built on hills around the harbour, most of the city is not particularly flat. The city centre is in the middle of the photograph and the university is behind it. You can see one of the nice things about the city pretty clearly -- there's a lot of green space within the city limits (the "Town Belt"). The red building in the lower-right corner was a monastery until a couple of years ago.
