Abe is an assistant professor of Computer Science at Cornell University, and the head of the group. His work is an interdisciplinary mix of technical innovation and design. Abe is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Sloan Fellowship, NSF CAREER award, MIT Sprowls Best Thesis Award, and Forbes 30 Under 30 in Science.
