The Grading Page
This page provides a detailed grading view of one or more groups.
You can see the entire submission history of each group, view and edit
group members' grades, and add comments.
To Get There:
- Select
the assignment you want to grade in the Groups
menu, or
click the corresponding groups link in
the assignment table to get to the Groups page.
- Select a single group by clicking the Grade
link for that
group, or select several groups by checking their boxes and clicking
the Grade button.
You can also get a Grading page
with all assignments for one student by clicking the link of that
student's
NetID on the Students page or
the Groups page.
Grades and Logging
You can change grades by directly editing them in the labeled text
boxes. Any changes made are only finalized by clicking the
Update
button at the bottom of the page. Whenever grades are changed,
the exact changes that were made and by who will be tracked in the
Logs section of the group's Grading
box.
Files
This box provides a listing links to this groups most recent
submissions in
red, as well as links to
older versions of submitted
files in
gray
underneath.
To Manually Upload Student
Submissions:
- Click the (upload) link next
to the Files header.
- Choose the Required Submissions you want to submit.
- Click the Update button at the
bottom of the page to
finalize all changes made.
Comments and Regrade Requests
You can provide comments to accompany students' grades when they view
them.
To Enter a Comment:
- You can write comments up to 8000 characters long in the
text box under the Comments
header.
- You can also submit a file to accompany this text in the
upload box directly underneath the text box.
- Click the Update button at the
bottom of the page to
finalize all changes made.
You will also see any pending regrade requests from
this group under
the Comments header. Click the
(expand request) link to view the full request. You can
use the comment box to respond to one or more regrade requests
by checking the boxes next to the requests. Any requests
responded to in this way will be considered Regraded (no longer
pending). You can also manually enter a regrade request for
a group by clicking the
(Add Request)
link.
