My name is Veselin Stoyanov and I am a sgraduate student at Cornell University's Computer Science Department. My advisor is Prof. Claire Cardie, with whom I work on problems in Natural Language Processing (NLP). I graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2002. I was born and raised in Bulgaria, a small country located in South Eastern Europe. I come from the city of Sofia, where my favorite soccer team, FC CSKA Sofia, is located.

Since 2007 I have also been involved in a start-up company co-founded by my advisor, Jodange, the world's first opinion utility. We have released a few Google gadgets. This one tracks the economic recovory pulse:
