Striver is a prototype system for research in machine learning and information retrieval. It records the following information about you a users search:
The query words typed in.
The entry point of the search (i.e. the page on which you type in your query words)
The links the user clicked on.
The times and dates of such actions.
A persistent identification (e.g. cookie or IP address).
Striver does not record you identity or your email address, but it does record your IP number (just like any other WWW site). Any data gathered by Striver will be used exclusively for research within the project.
