| I am currently working for Bloomberg in New
York City. Its a finance and media company, specializing in market
data. Am currently on leave from my PhD at CS Cornell. On way to my
PhD, I got my MS in Computer Science. Interned with
INTEL Corporation in Portland, Oregon for less
than a year. There I was working on Ultra Mobile PCs in the
Low Power on Intel Architecture technology group. Filed a patent for
a software framework to manage ubiquitous connectivity in a very power efficient way. I have also been interested in Computational Bio-Medicine. Here at Cornell, I was on a tri-institutional fellowship and a part of the Tri-Institutional Program in Computaional Biology and Medicine. Cornell CompSci, Ithaca collaborates with three medical schools in Manhattan: Cornell Weill Medical School, Rockefeller University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center . So I spent my summers in the medical schools in Manhattan and regular semesters at Ithaca working on my PhD in CS. I got my undergrad in Computer Engineering (and math) from University of Arkansas in May 2003 with Summa Cum Laude honors. Throughout I was on a Chancellor's Academic scholarship and finished with a 3.96/4.0 GPA. I also spent a semester at Pennsylvania State University doing some graduate level math as a part of the MASS program. I originally come from Kanpur, India where I got my schooling from Seth AR Jaipuria School. |
