About me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University. My advisor is Eva Tardos. I am interested in a large variety of problems in Theoretical Computer Science, specially:

Algorithmic Game Theory and Mechanism Design
Scheduling Algorithms
Metric Embeddings

I got a BEng in Computer Engineering at Instituto Militar de Engenharia and a MSc in Mathematics from Instituto de Matematica Pura e Aplicada, both in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), my hometown. Before coming to Cornell, I was also an intern at Bain&Company (Sao Paulo Office) and Google Inc. (Belo Horizonte Office). [ Lattes ]

Currently I am serving as the department theater czar and brown-bag czar. I also served as 2009 Visit-Day Czar. (What is a czar?). I also enjoy theater and travelling. (and chocolate)
