I will be accepting graduate students who intend to start in fall 2021. If you are interested in my research, I encourage you to consider applying to Berkeley EECS and list me in your application. I may also co-advise or serve on committees for graduate students in different departments, but can only discuss this after admissions decisions are posted. Since I am unable to meet with all prospective applicants, in the interest of equity, I will be declining all requests to meet any applicants ahead of interviews. If you have any questions about admissions, please visit this page and send your questions to the contact information there. If you have specific questions about my research or work, feel free to reach out to me.
If you are a current Berkeley graduate student in EECS or another department related to my research and you are interested in exploring possible projects with me, please reach out with a brief description of your interests and work. I have ongoing work in AI, theory, and HCI (as well as their intersection).
If you are a current Berkeley undergraduate student interested in research, I currently do not have positions, but encourage you to revisit this page in January 2021.
