I defended my PhD thesis in June 2006, and joined Google.
I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University. My research interests include Distributed Systems, Computer Networks, Operating Systems and Databases. I am currently working with Prof. Paul Francis and Dr. Prashant Pradhan (IBM T.J. Watson Research) on developing end-to-end techniques for Network Resource Management.
I also worked with Prof. Kenneth P. Birman and Dr. Robbert van Renesse in the past on performance evaluation of a scalable and self-repairing multicast overlay routing facility.
Prior to joining Cornell, I finished the Integrated Master’s program (BTech + MTech) in Mathematics and Computing as my undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, and received the Institute Silver Medal for obtaining the highest GPA.
