I am a PhD Candidate in Information Science at Cornell University. I work in the People-Aware Computing Lab under the supervision of Tanzeem Choudhury. My research spans the areas of Ubiquitous Computing, Human-Computer Interaction and Mobile Health. Much of my work focuses on the development and evaluation of mobile technologies for automatic self-regulation of emotion or behavior. My approach consists in designing subtle technologies to change how users naturally perceive internal signals (e.g. heart rate), behavioral signals (e.g. voice) or environmental cues (e.g. color of objects).
