Research

My research interest is scientific computing, especially semidefinite programming, optimization, and geometric computing.

Internship

As a Givens Associate, I worked with Mihai Anitescu in assessing the feasibility of using the Metropolis process to compute the radial distribution of different types of systems of particles at equilibrium and to reconstruct such systems from the given distribution.  The simulation was implemented in both Matlab and C++.

Teaching Assistantship

I worked as a teaching assistant for a number of courses in computer science department at Cornell University. Specifically, I was involved in the following courses:

Summer 2004 CS 322: Introduction to Scientific Computation
Spring 2004 CS 322: Introduction to Scientific Computation
Fall 2003 CS 421: Numerical Analysis
Summer 2003 CS 322: Introduction to Scientific Computation
Spring 2003 CS 322: Introduction to Scientific Computation
Fall 2002 CS 99: Fundamental Programming Concepts
