Other teaching experience

In March of 2007, I gave a one-hour talk to Ithaca high school students interested in the 2007 North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad.
In March of 2007, I spent two hours with a small group of students in the Trumansburg middle school after school program. We worked through language puzzles from the olympiad, and discussed some basics of linguistics and natural language processing.
In the fall of 2006 and again in 2007, I served as a facilitator for the Cornell New Student Reading Project. This involved one 1.5-hour discussion with a group of about 20 new frosh.
As an undergraduate, I served as a grader for Professor Phil Hanlon for Math 425 (Probability and Statistics), Winter term 1996, and Math 565 (Combinatorics and Graph Theory), Fall 1995. For both courses, I graded all homework sets for approximately 30 students.
