Experimenting using Internet for telephony, and applications that straddle Internet and the telephone network: * big project of 20 people, 10 subgroups * including data exchange, signaling, gateway, directory service, pricing, and various applications such as voice email, whiteboard and multiparty audio conferencing * our data exchange subgroup focused on efficient voice packet transfer on Internet using forward error correction and adaptive playout * using ping statistics, we simulated and analyzed performance of FEC and playout algorithms on Internet paths of different delay and loss rate characteristics * our group also served as management group responsible for scheduling, coordination and integration 01/98 - 05/98 Extensible HTTP Browser
