Using
FrontPage 98 |
| General Info |
In
the FrontPage Editor, you can work in the "Normal", editing mode (which works
much like a word processor), or work directly with the HTML. To switch between these
views, use the tabs at the bottom of the editor screen. There is also a Preview tab; this
will allow you to see how your page will look in a browser (more or less). You can't edit
anything while in the Preview tab. FrontPage doesn't have an AutoSave feature, so save your work often or you could lose it. If you are going to be working on pages that are in a FrontPage Web (on an NT server), make sure you have the web open in the FrontPage Explorer first. |
||
| Opening Pages |
Open existing pages from a web by choosing Open in the File menu, or by double-clicking them within the Explorer.
| Creating New Pages |
You can create new web pages in the FrontPage Editor by choosing New under the File menu. If you want to start with a blank page, simply leave "Normal Page" selected and say OK. You can also start with one of the other templates available.
