Using FrontPage 98
Creating HTML Pages
from Other File Formats

MS Word If you have an MS Word 97 document you want to put on the web, the best way to convert it is to open the document in Word, then go to the File menu and choose "Save as HTML". Save it to a hard drive, then Import it into your web using the FrontPage Explorer. You can then open the HTML file in the Editor and work with it.
You can also copy from Word into the FrontPage Editor by using the Cut, Copy, and Paste commands in the Edit menus of each program.
Other
Formats
The best method for generating HTML from other file formats depends on the program. Many newer software programs now have some type of "Save as HTML" or "Export HTML" commands included.
Usually, just copying and pasting from the program into FrontPage Editor will work.
