On February 26, 1997, undergraduate students in computer science presented information about research projects that they had been working on during the year. There were 19 presentations made by over two dozen students. See below for various pictures of that day.

In February of 1998 the fair returned, and was bigger and better than before.  The title of the 1998 CS Fair is "B.O.O.M", which is short for Bits On Our Minds.

 

Professor Charles van Loan is delighted by Karl Papadantonakis's program which improvises smooth-sounding jazz tunes.

CS Department Chair, Professor Robert Constable, inspects the work of Dan Klein '98. Klein's research is focused on Natural Language Parsing.

Gwen Gene Heitmann '98 talks about a computer graphics project that involved the use of implicit volumes and parametric sheets for 3-D modeling.
