Spring 2008: Course Notes

 

A guide to new and revised CS and CIS course offerings for Spring '08.

 

 

CIS 190: Service Learning in Computing has been cancelled.

 

CS 422: Numerical Analysis: Linear and Non-Linear Problems (also MATH 426) is a new course being taught by Prof. Charlie Van Loan.  See Courses of Study for prerequisites and course description.

 

CS 478: Machine Learning and CS 678: Advanced Topics in Machine Learning will have co-meeting lectures.  CS 678 will have a section in addition to the lectures.

 

CS 483: Quantum Information Processing (also Physics 481/681) is being offered. 

 

CS 632: Database Management Systems is being offered.

 

CS 672: Advanced Artificial Intelligence is being offered.
