Mission Statement

The mission of the Trumansburg Central School District is to teach children to become informed, contributing, caring citizens, who take responsibility for their actions and confidently pursue chosen vocations as lifelong learners.  The intended outcome is to help children develop in to healthy, adaptable adults who work together effectively and efficiently for the betterment of our society.

We believe that active communication among staff, students and community, in a process which is continuously reviewed, is essential to creating a stimulating and challenging environment which respects individual differences and provides equal opportunity so that all children may thrive.
