A former Eastern Germany secret agent runs away fron his past and lands in México under a fake identity. However he's cauught by the Mexican secret police and is forced to infiltrate a gruop political activist in the movement of 68. Helmut Busch (now Bruno) will fall in love with Adela, one of the activists, and that faces him into a dilema because he has orders to kill the head of the group where the young woman serves as a militant.
