It would seem that nothing is capable of distracting Scotty Johns from working on his much-anticipated second book. His debut novel currently resides on top of the best-seller list, and even the potential diversion of Hollywood knocking on his door cannot keep him from his writing. However, after an inexplicable letter arrives, any signs of normalcy in his life begin to fade. A series of mysterious and bizarre death threats soon ushers in symptoms of paranoia, unwelcome fame, and eventually a severe case of writer's block. As his friends, family and representatives come to his aid, Scotty's inability to write propels his life into a direction from which he may not be able to regain control.
