Plot Summary for
Calling, The (2002)

Armed with twenty dollars and a backpack, Pastor William sets off on an unusual call from God to walk across the country preaching the gospel. Provided with a blurry picture of William the media turns his ministry into a human interest story that spans the country in a massive media hunt for this "Miracle Man". After healing a woman of a stroke, William picks up another Pastor who desires to learn the deeper things of God. Together, they team up on an adventure that would take them to some very unexpected places and people. At the same time, William has become the object of wrath by a popular but pompous and pridefilled Christian Radio commentator who brands William as a false prophet and seeks to destroy him.
