Plot Summary for
American Lottery (2002)

Liquor store night clerk Jose (Freddie Ganno) has two dreams: Winning the State Lottery and winning the heart of a lovely young shoe store salesperson, Diana (Christi Adams). The first one comes easier than he expects. Before his very eyes on the store tv monitor, he sees his pick come up as the winning numbers for $50-million! It is the weekend and the lottery office is closed. He has no car. He confides in his best friend, Singh. A close acquaintance overhears their conversation, and, promised a fee, reports the win to Max (David Winburn), smooth-talking but deadly leader of a hoodlum gang, who sends his beautiful paramour, Cindy (Kelly Taylor), to seduce Jose, if necessary, to get her hands on the winning ticket. But Jose has hidden it in a shoe. Max and his men torture Jose and threaten to kill him if he doesn't turn it over. Diana, who secretly returns Jose's affection, comes to his rescue, but is taken hostage. However, love conquers all and...
