MAX is an AI mobile robot project designed to facilitate the study of various aspects of automated neural networks (ANN’s).  MAX has been integrated with ANN strategies to accomplish face and speech recognition, along with planning tasks.  Motor control is directed from the parallel port of an on-board laptop.  This project is part of an independent study by Derek Messie and Anthony Frasso under Professor Bart Selman at Cornell University.
