Michaela Goetz wins the Graduate Women’s Scholarship from Microsoft Research

Graduate student, Michaela Goetz won the Graduate Women’s Scholarship from Microsoft Research.
Provisions of the Award include:
The scholarship recipient award will include US$15,000 for the 2009 academic year.
A conference and travel allowance of US$2,000 is provided for recipients to attend a conference in their field of study.
Recipients will also receive an invitation to attend an award ceremony at the Microsoft Research campus in Redmond, WA in February 2009. Travel expenses will be paid by Microsoft Research.
Scholarships are awarded to recipients for one academic year only and are not available for extension or renewal
