CS Professor John Hopcroft, together with long-time co-authors Jeff Ullman and Al Aho, were honored by the NEC with the C&C Prize for their foundational texts in theoretical computer science. The C&C Prize was established in 1985 and is awarded to distinguished persons in recognition of outstanding contributions related to the integration of computers and communications technologies. The prize was awarded to Professor Hopcroft and colleagues at a ceremony held November 29 in Tokyo.
