Note: You must have Java Web Start and Java 1.4.2+ installed on your system
Troubleshooting
If you have Java Web Start installed on your computer, and it returns an Application Launch Error, clear your browser cache and try again.
In case you do not have Java Web Start installed on your system, you can download the Quark GUI as a java archive (.jar file). After saving the QuarkGUI.jar file on your disk, go to the command line, change into the directory it was saved in, and type
java -jar QuarkGUI.jar -url http://www.cs.cornell.edu/database/Quark/sampleXQueries.txt
Note: The java compiler directory must be part of the path system environment variable.
