Breaking news
Dec. 14
Complete solutions to the final from 2004 can be found
here.
Dec. 13
I was asked to post the solutions to the final from
2004. I've written up solutions to the first six questions, which can
be found here. I'll try to write up
the last two tomorrow, but I don't want to promise anything.
Dec. 12
Oops! The final is Dec. 15, not Dec. 14 (but it is
2-4:30 in Goldwin Smith G22).
Dec. 5
A number of things:
- The final exam we gave in 2004 can be found here.
- Don't forget that the final this year is Friday, Dec. 14, 2-4:30
PM, in Goldwin Smith G22
- Prof. Blume is out of town this week and next, so he won't be
having office hours, but Prof. Halpern's hours continue, with some
slight changes: tomorrow (Dec. 6) they will be 3:30 - 4:30; next week
(Dec. 13), they will be 2:30 - 3:30
- The last homework isn't graded yet, but should be graded by early
next week; I'll send out a note when it's graded and where you can pick
it up.
Oct. 25
Grades and statistics (split up by grad and undergrad)
are now posted on CMS.
Solutions to the homework can be
found there too (moved from the course web site).
Oct. 4
Solutions to the test from 2002 can be found here.
You can pick up your graded homeworks during
Prof. Halpern's office hours today. Otherwise they will be returned
tomorrow (note the solutions were posted a few days ago; check under
"homework").
Oct. 3
The test we gave the first
time we taught the course can be found here.
Note that we haven't covered the material in question I.2 yet. Sorry
for posting this so late. As for what to read in Kreps, for the test
read Chapters 1, 2, and 3. The material that Prof. Blume covered today
(which is not on the prelim) is in Chapter 4. The material that
Prof. Halpern covered on various decision rules is not in Kreps; you'll
just have to depend on the notes.
Sept. 25
For personal reasons, Prof. Blume won't be able to
make his office hours today. Sorry for the short notice.
Sept. 21
There will be a prelim in class on Oct. 5.
Sept. 7
Joe Halpern's office hours on 9/13 are cancelled
(he'll be flying back from California then).
