Performance Analysis of Intel DPDK on Physical and Virtual Machines
Vidhya Sankaran(vs444) and Divyesh Darde (dsd96)

Intel DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) is a set of libraries and drivers for fast packet processing on x86 platforms. It provides a programming framework that scales from  Intel Atom processors to  Intel Xeon processors and enables faster development of high speed data packet networking applications.

In this project, we measured the performance of Intel DPDK on Physical and Virtual machines and also analysed and suggested possible improvements on what can be improved to get better performance on VMs.
