Tests from Last Year
Note that this year we will have 3 quizzes, which means that the material
will be distributed slightly differently.
- Quiz 1 - Solutions
- Quiz 2 - Solutions
- Quiz 3 - Solutions
- Design patterns
- Security and Privacy
- You are not responsible for the specific weaknesses/exploits discussed in lecture.
- Reliability
- Make sure you understand the strengths and weaknesses of the various kinds of testing discussed in
lecture. Wikipedia is a good source if you want more reading.
General Information
- The dates for the quizzes are given in the calendar. They take place
during the Monday evening session in the normal lecture room, Phillips Hall 203.
- Each quiz will have 2 or 3 questions on material that is covered in lectures,
up to and including the day of the quiz.
- Many of the questions are fairly open. In general you should keep your
answers short. I am looking for a paragraph or two that indicates
you are familiar with the material, not a dissertation.
- The quizzes are closed-book, closed-computer, closed-phone. You are welcome
to bring one normal-sized piece of paper on which you can write (or print) whatever notes
you want.
- If you cannot make it to a quiz, contact me before the quiz.
There will be absolutely no make-ups if you do not contact me in advance.
