- Dec 14: Course final in BTN100WEST, 9am-11:30am.
- Dec 9: The final will cover all of the course material in the course, including architectural support for OSes, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, networking, storage, filesystems, and security. There will certainly be at least one question per main topic mentioned in the list above. Any and all concepts covered via readings from the book and from papers, as well as concepts covered in projects may be on the final, even if they were not discussed in lectures. The final is a closed-book exam.
- Dec 7: Chapter 15 material and Subsection 14.9 will not be on the final, Subsections 14.0 through 14.8 will be.
- Dec 5: We know you can't get enough of your favorite course, so the course staff will be holding office hours on the regular schedule until the final.

Course Hours
4410 meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:55pm-4:10pm in Holister B14.
4411 meets, approximately, every other week at 3:35pm-4:25pm in Thurston 205.
Prelims and Exams
Prelims are tentatively scheduled for the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, October 5th, Upson B17, 7:30pm-9:30pm
- Thursday, November 18, Goldwin Smith Hall G76-Lewis, 7:30pm-9:30pm
Prelims and finals are closed-book. No electronic devices are allowed.
Makeups are offered for the prelims on the same day at 5:15-7:15pm. Please
send a message to course staff at least one week ahead of the prelim, with the subject "Prelim Conflict", describing your conflict so we'll have an idea of how many people to expect for the makeup. The makeup exam for Prelim 2 will be held in Upson 315.
The final will take place on December 14, 2010, from 9am-11:30am, in
BTN100WEST: Barton Hall 100 West-Main Floor. There is no makeup for the
final. There is no way any other course you're enrolled in can have a
conflicting final date and time.
