09/15 Don't forget to apply all 4 technologies( ASP, JSP, Perl Scripts and servlets )  in your project. Java Beans are optional.
09/22 Here is a document that describes the requirements for the final project proposal. The final project proposals are due 9/29 in class and count for 15% of your overall grade.

10/01 You could see your web pages using the following paths :
  • dbserver.cs.cornell.edu/gx/name_of_file, where x is the number of project and name_of_file represents an ASP, JSP or Perl file
  • dbserver.cs.cornell.edu/gx.name_of_class.class, where x is the number of project and name_of_class represents tha name of java servlet.
10/01 I made an empty database for each group. You should use it in your project ( see examples ). The database for each group is situated in the group's directory. Besides Web pages, you can make tables and populate databases using Microsoft Access. See news group for details.
10/05 There is no class tomorrow
10/06 Here is a document that describes the requirements for the design document. The design documents are due 10/20 in class and count for 35% of your overall grade.
11/1 The latest news are posted only on news group. See details there about next class ( i.e class on 11/3 )
11/11 The next Milestone will be next Wednesday ( 17-th November ). During the class' hour you should come in my office and present what you will have implemented. You should present an important part of your project ( 30-40 %) and implement an important functionality. Each group will receive a grade, which is 5% of the final grade.
11/22 The last class will be on 1st December in the usual place. In this class you'll sign the slot page for the final demo, which is on third December.
