Final Presentations

Due: Saturday, December 13th at 9:00 am

In a 12-minute presentation, USING YOUR ANALYTICS, answer the following questions:

1. Tell us your game development story.

1a. Discuss overall player engagement from the Friends Release all the way to the Kongregate Release.

1b. Show a single burndown chart that is normalized (starting at 100 percent and decreasing) and shows all three releases.

1c. Did the game improve across these three releases? Provide convincing, well-justified analysis that is thoroughly grounded in the data.

2. Analyze a single game design challenge that you addressed across all three releases.

2a. What has been the most persistent, challenging problem you have dealt with across all three releases?

2b. Why do you know this is the biggest problem?

2c. Show data from the Friends Release showing the problem (heatmaps, statistics, etc.). What did you learn from the Friends Release?

2d. What did you change to resolve this problem after the Friends Release?

2e. Did it work? Show data from the Newgrounds Release showing yes or no.

2f. What did you learn from the Newgrounds Release about this problem and your solution?

2g. What did you change to resolve this problem after the Newgrounds Release?

2h. Did it work? Show data from the Kongregate Release showing that it did or didn't work

2i. What did you learn from the Kongregate Release about this problem and your solution?

2j. If you had more time, what would you do to resolve this problem even further?


Evaluation

You will be graded on:

1. Completeness. Did you answer ALL of the questions above?

2. Flow. Is every point made clearly? Did you provide sufficient motivation for why you are talking about each point? Did you transition effectively between points? Was there any unnecessary extraneous information?

3. Cognitive Load. Are your slides well-designed? Do they minimize text and use pictures?

4. Diction. Are you loud enough? Are you engaging your audience? Are you making good eye contact?
