4th December: The review slides are up and CMS is accepting the final (voluntary) homework. There are also a couple of past exams on the exam page for you to get a feel for what the exams will be like.
27th November: The distributed systems and security homework (the last one!) is up.
21st November: The distributed systems slides are up.
14th November: Homework 6 is up, the security slides are up.
10th November: Networking slides are up. Info on the final is available
30th October: Filesystem slides are up. Homework 5 is up.
22nd October: The disk and RAID slides are up. The midterm grades should now be in CMS.
6th October: The virtual memory slides by Hakim Weatherspoon are now up. There are also example midterms with solutions on the exam pages.
1st October: The deadlock and main memory slides are now up. Homework 2 grades are in CMS.
20th September: The synchronization slides are now up.
19th September: 415 slides and latest project is up. Also note that Oliver Kennedy's location for his office hours have changed. He will now be in the Systems Lab (Upson 331). Knock to gain access.
14th September: Homework 2 has been set. The contact TA is Chi Ho. Also, the 415 project 1 description has been slightly updated/corrected.
12th September: The date for the midterm has been set. It will be held on the 12th October in class.
11th September: Homework 1 grades and solutions are now in CMS. The hardcopy (with feedback) is available in the Homework Handback Room (Upson 360, open 10-12 and 2-4). Re-grading policies, etc will be described in class on Tuesday.
5th September: Slides for today's lecture has been posted. Also, the required textbook should now be available in the Cornell Store.
1st September: Your CMS access should now be working, and your CSUG Lab accounts have been created (see here for info on usage: http://www.csuglab.cornell.edu/userinfo.html). All TA office hours have now been posted.
30th August: The 314 revision slides are available.
30th August: The first homework has been assigned (see Coursework link).
28th August: Tomorrow's lecture notes have been posted. Also, 5-6 of the 6th and 7th edition of the textbook is now on reserve in the Engineering Library.
24th August: The required textbook somehow didn't get ordered correctly, which is why the Cornell Store doesn't have it. Have no fear
though, it should arrive next week or so. Also note that the 6th Edition is also okay.
24th August: The CS314 (pre-requisite course) refresher lecture has been scheduled for Upson 315, on Tuesday 29th August at 8pm.
23rd August: Welcome to CS414/415! Our first lecture is tomorrow at 10:10-11:25, in Olin 255.
