This week you will get to know malloc and free by completing all of the Participation and Challenge Activities in the following Sections of the C book:

• 8.3: The malloc and free functions
• 8.6: The malloc function for arrays and strings

Your final projects will be creating tests for and implementing malloc and free. It is in your best interest to really learn as much as you can about malloc and free this week as you can. Please use your TAs as a resource. They are awesome!
