Computer Science 280: Discrete Structures
Spring, 2007

Breaking news
May 1
As I said in my email, class is cancelled tomorrow and Friday.
The final will be help 7-9:30 on Wednesday, May 16, in Hollister
B14.
I've posted the final from 2004 here;
I've also posted the solutions.
The final was on the difficult side. It didn't include graph theory
(which this one will), and included more probability than we covered
this year. You can ignore questions 9(d),(i),(j).
I've also posted final notes for Week 14 (correcting an error on
topological sort noted by Christie), solutions to HW10, and an updated
solution to HW9.
I hope to set up a review session for Sunday afternoon; I'll let
you about that next week.
There's been a relatively good response for the Course Eval for
CS280; it was at 65% last time I checked. If you haven't done it,
please do. It's at http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/CourseEval/.

Note that I'm starting it 15 minutes late to give people whoare taking a
makeup 5:30 - 7 a chance to grab some dinner and relax.
Here is the prelim I gave in 2004
and its solution.
