I have posted last year's prelim and its
solution. Note that we haven't yet
covered the last question. All the other questions are fair game.
Sept. 23
Tom Church's Friday office hours are cancelled
(permanently). It seems no one was coming in any case. Also, don't
forget to let me know if you need a makeup for the prelim.
Sept. 21
The prelim will be Wednesday, October 6, 7:30 - 9,
Olin 155 (where our class is). Lucja will be doing a prelim review
session at a date and time to be determined (by Friday -- we'll discuss
it in class tomorrow).

Sept. 10
- HW1 is graded. Solutions and grades are
available on the Course Management System
webpage.
- Hari Nathan and Zachary Scherr have changed office hours. Check here for the corrected office hours.
- One of the questions in HW2 for DAM2 wasn't right. Please check
HW2 if you're using DAM2.
Sept. 8
Please make sure to staple your homework and attach this
grading sheet, either to the front or the back
of your homework. This will make it much easier for us to report your
grades. If you forget to do it after this week, we'll
deduct two points from your homework.
