The Chief Technology Officer from Vicarious Visions is coming to
Cornell. He's speaking for a conference for which I'm  the leader. VV is a
developer under Activision, not far from Albany, NY. It's exciting to have
the Engineering college sponsor a game speaker!

If you'd like to hear about the game industry and game education, this
is a great opportunity. The dinner (which includes the entire
conference) is very nice and only $25. You need to register to get in:

Why would the rest of the conference be interesting? On Sat Nov 18, we
have one of the original developers of Microsoft's Flight Simulator
giving a presentation! And there's another talk from Kionix
(developing motion sensitive controllers--we're collaborating with
them this semester).

I hope you can make it! We have a limited number of spots, so please
don't delay.

If you have any trouble in registering, please contact Bill Hogan
(whh@cs.cornell.edu) for help.

thanks!
