| Getting Help |
| Consulting |
The best way to get help is to use the consulting hours in Upson. These hours are staffed by the course consultants and teaching assistants. The
consultants and TAs may sometimes be found downstairs in Upson B7 instead of the third floor offices (Upson 360 and Upson 328). The consulting schedule is subject to change weekly.
|
| Newsgroup |
cornell.class.cs211 can be used to answer questions and for general discussion. The course staff will check
the newsgroup regularly, and we encourage all students to help answer each other's questions, too. Note that other "cs211" newsgroups are
defunct.
|
| One-on-one help |
If you need extra help, and the consulting hours and newsgroups don't work, you can try setting up a one-on-one appointment with one of the teaching
assistants (Ben and Eli), or the instructor (Kevin). Time is limited, though, so use this option sparingly. Email us directly to set up an appointment.
|
| Email |
With a big class, email can get overwhelming for the staff. Keeping this in mind, you can email any of the teaching assistants or instructors
directly with special problems or private questions. Or better yet, you can email cs211@cs, which will go to
the instructor. When emailing, please put "CS 211" somewhere in the subject line.
