Note: At present, the ONLY supported setup for accessing cucoon is IE5/Windows. If you are having problems then you should use a computer lab (such as Upson B7) for submitting homework and for looking at your grades.

Submitting via CUCOON

  1. Goto the CUCOON URL: http://www.csuglab.cornell.edu/Courses/CS211
  2. Click on "Register for Account", follow the directions on the registration page.
  3. Back at the main page, click on "Submit A Homework".
  4. Zip up your homework directory and upload the .zip file. This can be done with programs such as WinZip and TurboZIP.
    1. Make sure to hand it in under the correct assignment, e.g., assignment #3 for HW3.
    2. Make sure that each public Java class is defined in its own .java file.
  5. To verify your submission (if desired):
    1. From the main page, click on "View Profile"
    2. Download your submission for the assignment.
    3. Make sure that everything we need in order to grade your assignment is in the file you just downloaded.
