Please be patient as we work through the inevitable hiccups that come with launching a service for 400 users. If remote access is non-functional at any time, just walk into a campus public computer lab to use MATLAB. This means that you need to save your files frequently and always copy them from the remote server onto your own machine.

Installing supporting software and starting MATLAB

• Windows

• Linux: Follow the Mac instructions starting from "Log on via SSH", i.e., you should be able to skip the X Windows System software installation because it is usually already on your linux system.

Please always log out of your remote session in addition to closing MATLAB.

Transfering files between local and remote machines
