Upson Bay Reservation Calendars

The information posted here is for TAs and consultants who plan to schedule consulting sessions in Upson 328B and 360 Bays. For Gates Hall Tutoring spaces go here.
These instructions are subject to change! If they do, this webpage will be updated.

  • Note: Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If a time slot has 4 entries in it, all bays are full.

  • 1. Logon to Cornell's Exchange at http://outlook.cornell.edu you will be re-directed to Cornell University Federated Login
    2. Click on "Calendar" in the upper menu bar
    3. On the left side bar, right click on top of "My Calendars" and select "open calendar"
    4. Type "Upson-360" or "Upson-328B" and click on the person icon that comes up, then click "open"
    5. The room calendar is now attached your out Oulook and should stay there.
    6. Be sure you are adding your "Event" to the room calendar and not your own. You may want to un-check your calendar.
    7. Click on "Week" in the upper right corner to see a week view of the time slots.
    8. In an open slot, double click in white space on the calendar in the time slot, and follow syntax below

    Note: Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add the other room, if applicable.

    Event/Meeting Creation Syntax:

    Event: "Bay A,B,C, or D - Course Number - Time - NetID"
    Location: Leave Blank
    Attendees: Leave Blank
    Start/Duration: Self explantory, please fill in
    Show as: Busy
    Reminder: None
    Repeat: Select the options that best fits. Remember, each time slot can not have more than 4, so you have to manually check that your recurrence event does not conflict. When setting your repeating event, put the end of the semester as the end date.
