Course DescriptionCS 1133: Transition to Python
Fall, spring. 1 credit. S-U grades only. Introduction to the Python programming language. Covers the basic programming constructs of Python, including assignment, conditionals, iteration, functions, object-oriented design, arrays, and vectorized computation. Assumes programming knowledge in a language like Java, Matlab, C, C++, or Fortran. Students who take this course will build an understanding of will understand the basic Python constructs and be able to write simple programs. |
