Differentiated services

Differentiated services allows some packets in the Internet to get better service than others. This is done through a combination of differentiated scheduling in routers, and placing markers in packet headers to identify packets that should receive preferential service. In this work, I would like to tie in the idea of centralization I first proposed in the context of multicast with the ideas I explored in past work in RCBR services. This, along with an appropriate pricing scheme, I believe would provide a scaleable and complete solution to differentiated services. The goal of this work is to come up with more details, tie in past work with current proposals, and perhaps simulate the proposed architecture.
