Appended is an AACR catalogue record and an event analysis reflecting the
cataloguing process for the example.

Please note that I have made some assumptions (e.g., that the videocassette
was actually released for distribution as a "published" item by PBS).  I
have omitted certain facts that were provided for the example (e.g., the
date of composition for each of the three musical works) in cases where the
cataloguing rules would not call for such facts to be recorded.  I have also
provided a fuller level of cataloguing (e.g., providing analytical added
entries for each of the three compositions performed in the video) than
would necessarily be provided by the average library cataloguing the item.

As noted at the meeting, the cataloguing process itself can be analyzed in
detail using the event structure as outlined below, but the catalogue record
with MARC coding will not necessarily support a complete reconstruction of
the analysis that was performed by the cataloguer in compiling the data for
the record.
