“Architecture” is a word we computer scientists sometime use when we have done more design than implementation.  Anyway, this talk presents the concept of Reference Linking, and our current plans for implementing a reference linking service.
	This talk was presented on April 27, 2000 to the PRISM group (which includes Librarians as well as programmers) and the more technical part was presented to Carl Lagoze’s research staff on May 3, 2000 (which included programmers from the FEDORA and Dienst projects).
