Abstract:

Our project is a lightweight implementation of Freenet on mobile PDA's. Freenet is an peer-to-peer file sharing system which offers the advantage of ah-hoc operation and plausible deniability of content. Once popular online content provider Napster suffered from 2 faults which Freenet attempts to address - a centralized server, and a single entity to which can be held accountable for user's content. Freenet is a protocol that exposes a distributed and anonymous file sharing service to its clients.
